The first report on industry action in support of the WHO Strategy to reduce the harmful use of alcohol is due to be delivered in 2012.  ICAP has been tasked by the CEOs of its sponsor companies with collecting information on ongoing initiatives from around the world.  As we approach the midway point in this process, ICAP is convening a workshop to examine initiatives that are already in place in Latin America.  It is an opportunity to work with industry members and to assist them in developing new programs and interventions.

The meeting will be held in Miami, FL and is intended to facilitate the exchange of good practice and to provide an opportunity for feedback and advice from experts in the field.  Emphasis will be placed on how industry action can be strengthened, especially through evaluation and partnership.
