Drinking and Driving: A Road Safety Manual for Decision-makers and Practitioners
In 2007, the Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) produced, as part of the United Nations Road Safety Collaboration, a good practice manual on drinking and driving. This manual was launched at the United Nations in Geneva and can be downloaded from the GRSP website.
Drinking and Driving: A Road Safety Manual for Decision-makers and Practitioners provides practical advice about developing and implementing coordinated and integrated initiatives to prevent alcohol-impaired driving within a country. It follows from the recommendations made in the 2004 World Report on Road Traffic Injury Prevention, jointly issued by the World Health Organization and the World Bank. ICAP is a founding member of the GRSP.
