ICAP has surveyed Ministers of Health, Directors General of Health Services and key policy professionals in national governments, quasi-governmental bodies and other national entities responsible for developing and implementing alcohol policy in countries around the world.
The objective of the survey is to identify priority areas for policy development, and to track perspectives on alcohol policy and partnership. The lessons learned from the results serve as a benchmark for future policy questionnaires and for the development of policy approaches tailored to the needs of different cultures, populations and drinking practices.
The first survey was conducted in 2001.
